Venezuela is a long way behind her now, though nothing of the warmth got left there. A hotel by the Dam or out on the Zuidas is a short trip even once the trams have stopped, and the trams stop long before her evenings do. Guests who have to be at a gate by seven would rather not think about it until then, and she does not raise it. Eight hours goes quickly enough that the alarm always seems early, and nobody has ever complained about the last of them.

On WhatsApp, naming Sophia, the hotel, the room number, the hour and how long. If the hotel is at the airport, say so.
If she is free for that hour we come back with a time. If she is not, we say so rather than sending somebody else in her place.
Payment on arrival: cash in any major currency at the day's rate, card, or crypto. The hour starts when the door closes.
